Raw Vegan Strawberry Banana Fruit Roll Ups
Cook time
Total time
Cuisine: raw food, raw vegan, gluten-free
Serves: 6
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
  1. Blend all the ingredients in the blender until smooth.
  2. Line a dehydrator tray with both a mesh and silicone sheet.
  3. Spread the mixture thinly and evenly onto the silicone sheet. You should end up with about 1 and a half trays worth.
  4. Dry it at 115°F for 6 to 8 hours until the surface is dry but the fruit leather is still pliable. If you dried it too much by accident, lightly spritz some water and let it absorb to regain its softness.
  5. Peel the fruit leather off of the silicone sheet. Lay down a piece of parchment paper or wax paper and place the fruit leather on top.
  6. Trim the edges to make it straight and cut into your desired rectangular size.
  7. Roll it up and tie with a piece of string. If you roll it with the parchment or wax paper facing up, you can see the fruit leather on the outside which makes it pretty.
Store in an air-tight container or in a ziplock bag. Keeps for 1 week refrigerated.
