Now, Kunitachi is not somewhere you’ll most likely be if you are just visiting Japan because it’s away from the touristy areas. I happen to be near by because the Koji cooking class I took was one train station away. It’s hard to find a all vegan Chinese place in Japan, so I gave it a try. It’s a small Taiwanese Chinese vegan place. I forgot to take a picture of the interior, but it’s a bit dated, kind of like your neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
They have quite an extensive menu. I ordered the sweet and sour pork. It was very good, but some of the soy meat pieces were a bit tough, like it got overcooked or something.
I also got the green bell pepper pork ramen. Salt based soup with sautéed bean sprouts, carrots, green and red bell pepper, and soy pork with ramen noodles.
They have their own pre-packaged food,
You can do take-outs so I decided to bring back dinner for my parents, and got the daikon mochi (Chinese radish cake), five veggie sauce over deep fried noodles, and stir fried rice vermicelli. We liked the daikon mochi, but thought the rest was good but pretty oily.
